Founded by telephony experts who have been in the industry since 1968, the infrastructure on which our products were based was built from the ground up starting in 1997 focused on the principles of integrity, creative thinking, and the reliability demanded by the Bell Telephone companies.

As one of the pioneers in VoIP, our SIP stack is not only in every one of our products but has been used by large network providers and telephone equipment vendors alike, it has been licensed to other companies for use in their products.

Built From the Ground Up

While many of the largest PBX manufacturers deliver a system that is comprised of several smaller hardware and software pieces purchased from other companies and kludged together, ours is not.

Our system is a single tightly integrated solution. In our opinion, a system based of hardware and/or software from multiple other companies, is far more costly, difficult to support, and maintain. They don't advertise this fact, but ask any perspective seller about it. Insist on getting an answer without any mumbo jumbo used to disguise the truth.

Why not open-source?

Some PBX systems are based on open-source software that utilizes mass user contribution and a multitude of loosely coupled components. Then other companies come along and want to sell you installation, configuration, support and maintenance. Telegato’s Cheetah series is built from the ground up as a tightly integrated solution offering all the benefits of a real product.

Auto-attendant vs. true IVR

Other PBX “solutions” come with a mere auto-attendant. But the Telegato Cheetah series PBX boasts a fully equipped, built from the ground up true IVR – allowing  callers  to  input  information, be directed by logic,  and  be offered  database specific information such as account balance, bill pay, reminders, notices, surveys, and much more.
